You may have seen us pop up this Valentine's with our offer to save anyone who was having a miserable time on their date, on the day of Love.

It was reported that by using the SOS function via the app, you could get a free ride home on Valentine's Day (If your date was not going too well)

Our gesture of goodwill saw us and our app feature in various places including, Grazia, Cosmopolitan and MTV UK to name a few who caught on to our superhero act of kindness.

Some of what was featured can be found below:

Well, this Valentine’s Day rest assured that we have a backup plan. Ubeeqo is an app which is offering free taxi journeys home for anyone based in London when a friend calls with a ‘problem’ on Tuesday evening.

Say your date turns out to be a bit of a nightmare (and we all know this can happen), you just open up Ubeeqo's app, and tap an SOS button to get yourself outta there. Now, this is a London-only offer, so you'll need to head into the capital, and you only get one free trip on the day - so don't go organising multiple awful dates.

You excuse yourself to go hyperventilate in the toilets, but there’s no need to worry about how to make your escape as the app – named Ubeeqo – has got your back.

Because they know that a free ride can make up for some serious ego bruises, they have set up an emergency button that can help you out in this very uncomfortable situation. Simply open Ubeeqo, hit the button and the app will locate you and send you a car so u can get tf out for free.

If you live in London, and have a blind date planned for Valentine’s Day then we seriously advise you get this app, just in case you want to escape for free. And soz if you’re not in London - you’ll just have to go old school and ask your nan to give you a call so you can pretend your house is on fire instead.
